Gateway to Life Church began in 2001 through much prayer and fasting. It was during this time of prayer and fasting that a dream was birthed by the Holy Spirit to open a Pentecostal Church in Little Current. At that time there was a small group of people from Espanola that began to meet in the home of Dan and Janey Kutcha. Pastor Dan began to prepare himself to lead this new congregation by taking Bible college.
In 2003 with the help of th PAOC and Jiggs Elliot we moved into the old Children's aid offices. The building was not designed for a church and so many renovations were required to accomodate the needs of the new congregation. Yet through it all God continued to bless the church as many people came to know the God and where baptised in water and the Holy Ghost.
Growth came quickly and more renovations were needed as sunday school classrooms, nursery and a kitchen where added. Our numbers reached between 40-50 on any given Sunday. After nearly 12 years of ministry Pastor Dan felt he needed a rest and stepped down as Pastor.
Pastor Aaron Tardif then came to lead us and over the next three years developing such ministries as youth know as "The Gate", ladies group, loving Little Current Days and other ministries, but after a short three years in Little Current Pastro Aaron felt the call to minister on another Island(P.E.I.) and once again we began a search for a new Pastor. This is where we find ourselves today with Pastor Phil and his family beggining a new era at Gateway to Life.
